The rest of the year, the natural setting surrounding the property guarantees you a relaxing stay, far from the hustle and bustle of the resorts. The village of Morzine remains however very close to the property and easily accessible – you will even be able to use its free shuttle buses in the summer. The Prodains lift is also a short walk or cycle away from the chalet, giving you access to many hiking paths.

The Morzine-Avoriaz resort has been awarded the "Famille Plus" label for its programme of activities and facilities for children. It has two water parks, two summer toboggan runs, and a tree-top adventure course. There’s also a great choice of shops and restaurants.

About the property…

Chalet Evelyn can accommodate up to 10 guests (including eight adults) in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. There’s also plenty of space for socialising, with three living rooms spread over three floors.

The entrance hall on the ground floor leads to a ski room with heated boot dryers and on to the bright, open-plan living room.

This room combines a seating area with a fireplace and several sofas, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob, an extractor hood and a coffee bar.

The living area opens onto a beautiful terrace with a hot tub, a flat garden, outdoor seating, a second dining table, and loungers where you can soak up the sun in the summer.

The first floor has a second living room on the landing, with a television, a bookcase, and a drawing table for children. There are also three bedrooms: a double bedroom with a TV shares a balcony and shower room with the neighbouring room which has two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a WC.

There is a further bedroom on the lower ground floor – a family room with a double bed and two bunk beds. It has a separate shower room and toilet. There’s also another living room with a TV, sofas, and a game console, as well as a sauna and a large laundry room with a washer and dryer.

One car can be parked in the garage, with three more parking spaces outside.

About the area…

Chalet Evelyn is between Morzine and Avoriaz, giving you great access to the 12 ski resorts of the Portes du Soleil ski area. With 650km of excellent slopes and 200 ski lifts, the domaine is a winter sports paradise, stretching across the French border into Switzerland.

For those who don't ski, Morzine offers many other winter activities, such as ice skating (indoor and outdoor), snowmobiling, ice climbing, sledding, and of course snowshoeing or sleigh rides.

In summer, the chairlift keeps running, opening up a whole network of trails for hiking or mountain biking. Some of the many other activities on offer include rock climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, fishing, and kayaking.
